ECU Upgrade for Bentley Continental Supersports
681 HP | 651 LB-FT
OVERVIEW:
ECU Tuning Group’s (ETG) proprietary software for the Bentley Continental Supersports’ 6.0 Liter W12 motor maximizes vehicle performance, without compromising safety, reliability, or comfort.
ECU tuning refers to rewriting or remapping the software in your vehicle’s Electronic Control Unit (ECU) — sometimes referred to as an Electronic or Engine Control Module (ECM) — to improve the vehicle’s performance and/or responsiveness. The manufacturer generally uses conservative maps in the ECU to allow for slight variations across motors, poor fuel quality, and inadequate maintenance or neglect by owners.
ETG’s software is designed to safely increase horsepower and torque across the powerband, and improve the overall responsiveness of the vehicle, while maintaining built-in safety features (e.g., knock control). Weighing “just” 4940 lbs
With a vehicle capable of 204 mph, 0-60 mph in 3.7 sec, 0-100 mph in 8.9 sec, and a top speed of 204 mph, you wouldn’t think there is much room to improve performance. Fortunately for us, software is software and auto manufacturers don’t sell cars that run at 10/10ths of what the vehicle is engineered to do…so ETG’s software development team was able to find another 60 HP and 61 LB-FT!
Still not enough? Consider adding BMC Air Filters and HJS High-flow catalytic converters for even more power.
The Bentley Supersports is already an impressive vehicle. With a stout 621 HP being channeled through a 40/60-percent front-to-rear torque split to the all-wheel-drive system, the Supersports is a beast. But Bentley didn’t stop there; they added lighter carbon ceramic brakes and carbon fiber parts to shave off 250 lbs. Despite it’s 4939 lb curb weight, this über-coupe goes like a fighter jet.
But ETG knows there is still more. So, by uploading new software to the Engine Control Unit, or ECU, we make adjustments to engine parameters, such as boost, ignition timing, cam timing, fuel injection, and more to increase the output of the vehicle’s 6.0L W12 engine.
On most vehicles, ETG also adjusts the electronic throttle control (drive-by-wire) maps for better pedal response, transmission maps for quicker shifts, raise the rev limiter, and remove the speed governor.
With the Bentley Supersports, it is best to Flash the ECU on the Bench. That is, the ECU will need to be removed (a fairly quick and simple process) and sent to us via overnight delivery. We will re-program the ECU and send it back to you overnight.
HIGHLIGHTS:
– Increase in Horsepower and Torque
– Reprogram Throttle Maps for Improved Throttle Response
– Reprogram Transmission Maps for Quicker Shifts
– Increased Exhaust Volume in 2nd & 3rd Gear
– Raise Rev Limiter
– Remove Speed Governor
– Undetectable at Dealership (most vehicles)
– Vehicle Can Be Put Back to ‘Stock’ Upon Request
– Complimentary Re-flashing of ECU included, if Dealer Reprograms ECU

OPTIONAL MODIFICATIONS:
BMC Air Filters ($295 ea)
HJS High-Flow 200 cell Catalytic Converters ($720 ea)*
– Part No 9095
HJS High-Flow 200 cell Catalytic Converters ($950 ea)*
– Part No 9095 0190
*The Bentley Continental GT motor needs some backpressure for optimal performance, so by removing the catalytic converters completely, our team has seen a 72hp loss. With that said, the stock cats are too restrictive. Performance will improve with high-flow cats, like the HJS parts above. Part No 9095 0182 will be sufficient, but since we are right around 700 HP, or slightly higher, with BMC Air Filters, HJS High-flow Cats, a Sport Exhaust, and the ETG ECU Upgrade, it could make sense to go with Part No 9095 0190 (even if it is a little bit more than you need, since the pair can handle 900 HP).

*Installation prices vary with vehicle (e.g., supercharged), product type (flash vs. module) and location. In some cases, it is best that we bench flash the ECU, so the ECU should be shipped to us via overnight delivery. Alternately, we can come to your home or office, remove the ECU, bench flash, and then return to reinstall the part.
